Obituary for Michael A. Johnson

Michael A. Johnson, 57, of Virginia Beach, VA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 4, 2018. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Charles and Joan Johnson.

He was a member of Bridge Church in Virginia Beach and a graduate of Kempsville High School.

Left to cherish his memory: his wife, Correen C. Johnson; daughter, Chelsey Johnson of Virginia Beach; sons, Stephen Johnson and wife, Paige, and Zachary Johnson and wife, Zoe, both of Virginia Beach; brother, Bobby Johnson and Denice Rudolph; niece, Brett Johnson, all of Virginia Beach; brother, Wayne Johnson of Hendersonville, NC; and grandchildren, Kelani Johnson and Brock Johnson, both of Virginia Beach.

Michael was a loving husband, Dad and Papa. He loved Jesus, his family, the Oakland Raiders and his Oklahoma Sooners.

Celebration services will be held at Bridge Church located at 3168 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Michael’s name to Bridge Church’s Bridging the Future 5 in Five Campaign.
