Obituary for Marissa Spring Harris

Marissa Spring Harris, 38, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away March 10, 2018.

Born in Chesapeake, VA, she was a Housekeeper at the Red Roof Inn and waitress at Waffle House in Hopewell. She was a loving mother and hard worker. She was loved by all. There are no words to describe how amazing she was.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Stephen D. Bardsley, Jr.; sons, Anthony M. Harris of Surry County, VA and Stephen D. Bardsley, III, of Chesapeake, VA; brother, Rick Harris and wife, Chrystal, of Elizabeth City, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; her best friends, Yvette Funai, Crystal Hartless, Destiny Funai, Amanda Goodwyn, and Tanya Jordan; childhood friend, Jessica Bardsley; two daughters-in-law, Joselyn Sutherland and Harlee Roy.

The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 12 to 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Chesapeake City Park. Condolences may be offered to the family at
