Obituary for Homer Lee Bacon, Jr.

Homer Lee Bacon, Jr., passed away on November 26, 2017, after a battle with dementia and kidney disease.

He was born July 22, 1944, in Suffolk, VA. He was predeceased by his parents, Homer and Helen Bacon. He was a 1962 graduate of P.A. High School, served in the U. S. Air Force and was a previous employee of McLean Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cox Bacon of 38 years; sister, Charlene Garceau (Tom); niece, Stacy Garceau; step-daughter, Charlene Hershberger (Ken); step-grandchildren, Chandler and Chase.

Special thanks to all of his doctors, nurses, and staff at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Leigh Memorial Hospital, Brookdale Virginia Beach, PA Rehab, Bright-Star Care, and DaVita-Leigh Dialysis Center.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at
