Obituary for Charles Edward Richardson, IV

Charles Edward Richardson, IV, of Virginia Beach, VA, known to friends and family as Bud or Buddy, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at a young age of 55.

Bud was preceded in death of his mother, Patricia Richardson. He is survived and remembered by his loving wife of 20 years, Karen; his daughter, Erica; his son, Chase; his brother, Bill; his father, Charles “Bud” Jr.; and his nephews and nieces.

Bud was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on February 22, 1963. He graduated from Green Run high school in 1981. He worked as an electrician for many years. Bud was a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penquins. He loved spending time on the beach, fishing, tanning and collecting coins.

A celebration of life will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 2-5 p.m. at 1609 Cliffwood Drive, Va. Beach, Virginia for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association in his mother’s name. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
