Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home offers concrete burial vaults, as well as a simple, concrete grave liner. State or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a grave liner or a burial vault will satisfy these requirements. NOTE: MOST AREA CEMETERIES WILL NOT ACCEPT A GRAVE LINER. An outer burial container is designed to support heavy cemetery equipment and the several thousand pounds of earth in the grave; a casket is not designed to support this weight. We offer Wilbert Burial Vaults, which we feel are the best concrete burial vaults available today. The latest manufacturing processes coupled with time-proven materials gives families an excellent value in burial vaults. A specially-designed compound bonds the lid onto the vault.
