James R. "Jimmy" Webb, 79, passed away on December 27, 2012, in St. Mary's, GA. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi.
Jimmy retired as a Commander after 25 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a handyman, and if there was a job to be done, he found a way. He always had a solution to every problem.
He is survived by his wife, Mollie Webb of St. Mary's, GA; two daughters, Victoria Horne and husband Danny and Robyn Webb and Tim; four grandchildren, Shellie Grant, Caitlin Dorner and husband Jonathan, Jessica Horne and Tyler Horne. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Webb; and a son, James Richard Webb, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel will be handling arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
