Resided in Virginia Beach, VA
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Harlean (Petey) Anderson; sons, Robert and Daniel (Sue); daughter, Rebecca Hendricks (Duane); and grandchildren, Shonda Cook (Jason), Andrew and Cody Hendricks. He also leaves behind sisters, Donna Anderson, Sandy Halleck; and brother, Daniel Anderson.
He graduated from Stanford University, the University of Minnesota Medical School, and interned at San Diego County Hospital, with a residency in OB-GYN at the University of Utah and Boston City Hospital. He practiced medicine in Missoula, MT, and the island of Guam before starting a career in clinical research at Johnson & Johnson in Raritan, NJ and culminating at the Jones Institute of Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.
He loved travel, reading, movies (could have been a movie critic), scuba diving, skiing, golfing windsurfing and most of all being a Grandfather.
A private memorial will be held at a later date with his family.
