Anne “Nan” Patricia Burnham, 65, of Virginia Beach, VA, died March 20, 2007, in a local hospital.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and was the daughter of the late William and Anne McNulty. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Catholic congregation at the Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel.
Nan is survived by her husband, John K. Burnham; a daughter, Marybeth A. Levine and her husband Steve of Canton, MI; two sons, John J. Burnham and his wife Rosemarie of Virginia Beach, VA and Bill Burnham and his wife Jenifer of Lorton, VA; four sisters, Kathleen Gray of Westerville, OH, Maureen Sanderson and Patricia McNulty, both of Philadelphia, PA and Elizabeth Fleming of London, England; two brothers, James McNulty of Lewis Run, PA and Thomas McNulty of Marietta, GA; and eight grandchildren, Will, Ken, Katharine, John, David, Hector, Nathan and Alexandra. She was predeceased by a brother, William A. McNulty, Jr.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, in Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel by the Rev. Fr. William Dermott. Non-military persons wishing to attend the service at the church must register at the funeral home by calling 464-6221 no later than 12 p.m. Sunday. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel Monday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4416 Expressway Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
