Obituary for Joe Davis Glenn, III

Joe Davis Glenn, III, 71, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away July 10, 2018.

Born in Clemson, SC, he was the son of the late Joe D. Glenn, Jr., and Margaret Glenn. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a restaurant business manager.

Left to cherish his memory: two daughters, Nicole and Andrea Glenn; a sister, Diane Sawyer and her husband, Gary; a brother, Harry Glenn and his wife, Roberta; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Porter.

The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel on Friday, July 13, from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans at DAV.org or Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, 3152 Little Road Suite 146, Trinity, FL 34655.
